PROCEDURE FOR THE APPLICATION OF K2 PASTE

Use S.I. 56 Degreasing Powder (K2 Cleaner) Dissolve 50100 gm powder in 1 Ltr water and apply

on the surface area .

Wash the surface with water and dry.

Apply K2 Paste on the weld area & HAZ ( Heat Affect Zone ) with brush , Leave it for 3060

minutes depending on the oxide scale

Wash with High Pressure Water Jet System, Leave it for dry.

Next apply K2 Passivation Solution and leave it for 3040 minutes.

Finally wash the surface thoroughly with DI (DE mineralised /DE Ionised Water) and dry. Note

: Chloride content in the rinse water should be less than 50 ppm ( Parts per million )
